PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap sorter which is capable of distinguishing the color of a cap with high precision, considering the characteristics of the cap of a container, especially the cap of a polyethylene terephthalate bottle.SOLUTION: This cap sorter 10 comprises a first color decision means 14 which outputs a first color result by deciding the color recognized visually in the first direction of the cap 12 of the container, a second color decision means 15 which outputs a second color result by deciding the color of the cap recognized visually in the second direction different from the first direction, and an distinguishing means 20 which identifies the color of the cap, based on the first color result and the second color result. In addition, the device 10 sorts the cap according to the color of the cap. |
