PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus and a computer program for preventing software which is not suitable for the function restriction of connected equipment from being installed in advance.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus is configured to obtain function specification data to specify the function of a client PC before installing software in a client PC connected to a server. A validity/invalidity determination part 103 determines that the installation of any software other than software related with the same function as the function of the client PC or software related with the function restricted by the function of the equipment is invalid on the basis of the obtained function specification data. |
