PURPOSE: A boiler using an LED(Light Emitting Diode) is provided to ensure environmentally-friendly effect by heating water with electricity only so as not to produce carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION: A boiler(100) comprises a water tank(102), a heat medium oil tank(112), a metal PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(116), a plurality of LEDs(118), and a power supply unit. The heat medium oil is stored in the heat medium oil tank. The heating water discharged from the water tank flows through a heat exchange pipe(114) which passes through the inside of the heat medium oil tank. The metal PCB in which the LEDs are installed is attached to the bottom of the heat medium oil tank. The power supply unit supplies DC(Direct Current) power to the LEDs. The temperature of the heat medium oil in the heat medium oil tank is raised by the heat from the LEDs and accordingly the temperature of heating water in the heat exchange pipe is raised. |
