PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally improve interests in games by a ready-for-win performance. SOLUTION: Upon once establishment of either the first or second starting requirement of a special pattern game, the specified performance of a "pseudo series" is executed to carry out a performance display prescribed times in which decoration figures are varied in all of "left", "middle" and "right" decoration figure display areas and then, temporarily stopped and displayed in all of the areas and thereafter, re-varied in all the areas again. In type of variation pattern determination tables 135A-135C for ready-for-win states, table data are so arranged as to enable the decision of the type of variation pattern as any of those of variation pattern classified depending on the kinds of performance actions in the ready-for-win performance which is executed responding to the timing when a ready-for-win state is presented in the variable display of the decoration figures after the execution of the specified performance of a "pseudo series".
