PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an inlet cup for horizontal type centrifugal casting is provided to smoothly perform a casting process by shortening the fabrication time of the inlet cup. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an inlet cup for horizontal type centrifugal casting comprises the steps of: mixing a certain amount of moistures to a castable of power type and injecting the mixture to a frame to mold the castable(S110); fabricating an inlet cup by using the molded castable(S120); naturally drying the inlet cup by removing the moistures from the inlet cup(S130); performing a secondary drying operation for removing the moistures from the inlet cup(S140); and performing the drying operation by directly heating the inlet cup to increase the compression strength(S150). |
