PURPOSE: An advertisement service method using a ticker function and a system thereof are provided to assign a ticker area to an internet browser, thereby displaying a web image through the internet browser and displaying ticker content, in which advertisement information is included, through the ticker area. CONSTITUTION: A ticker allocator(210) assigns a ticker area to an internet browser. A browser controller(220) displays a web image, which is downloaded from a web server, through an internet browser. If a message is received while the web image is displayed, a ticker display unit(230) displays the ticker content included in the message on the ticker area. A message classifier(240) confirms whether a ticker identifier is included in the received message or not. |
