摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a variable damping force shock absorber which more appropriately controls damping force.SOLUTION: The control device calculates an absolute value of a front axle lateral G (Gyf) detected by a front axle lateral G sensor disposed at a front axle, and an absolute value of a rear axle lateral G (Gyr) detected by a rear axle lateral G sensor disposed at a rear axle (S1-S2); selects, as a control value Gt, a larger one of the absolute value (|Gyf|) of the front axle lateral G and the absolute value (|Gyr|) of the rear axle lateral G (S3); when the control value Gt is a preset threshold value (a) or more, determines a roll behavior state by using the front axle lateral G (Gyf) and the rear axle lateral G (Gyr) (S4-S8); and changes the damping force of the variable damping force shock absorber according to the control value Gt (S9-S13).
