PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulating wall which is light in weight while maintaining a sound insulating effect equivalent to that of a conventional sound insulating wall.SOLUTION: The sound insulating wall includes a plurality of supports which are erected at spaces, and three sound insulating panels 4, 5 and 6 which are installed between the supports adjacent to each other and stacked in three tiers in a height direction. The thickness tof the lowermost sound insulating panel 6 is the greatest; and the thickness tof the mid sound insulating panel 5 is smaller than that tof the lowermost sound insulating panel 6. The thickness tof the uppermost sound insulating panel 4 is smaller than that tof the mid sound insulating panel 5. The thickness of the sound insulating panel provided in a higher position is set smaller. |
