The gear transmission (1) has two planetary gear sets (6,7), where shafts (8,10) of former planetary gear set are connected with shafts (9,11) of latter planetary gear set in a respective manner. One of the shafts of the former planetary gear is brought in active connection with a vehicle axle (4). One of the shafts of the latter planetary gear is brought in active connection with another vehicle axle (5). The planetary gear train sets form a Ravigneaux-transmission.
