PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly switch between a vehicle speed limiting state of being operable in a vehicle speed limiting means and a vehicle speed nonlimiting state of being nonoperable in the vehicle speed limiting means. SOLUTION: This vehicle speed limiting device has the vehicle speed limiting means 112 limiting a vehicle speed, a control means 114 controlling so as to switch between the vehicle speed limiting state of being operable in the vehicle speed limiting means and the vehicle speed nonlimiting state of being nonoperable in the vehicle speed limiting means, and operation quantity means 140 and 150 detecting an operation quantity of an operation member for controlling acceleration-deceleration of a vehicle, and is characterized in that the control means switches to the vehicle speed limiting means, when detecting a release of acceleration operation of the vehicle or deceleration operation of the vehicle by the operation quantity means in the vehicle speed nonlimiting state.
