PURPOSE: A block for water quality improvement and artificial fish reef and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, which can be used to preserve marine ecosystem. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a block for water quality improvement and artificial fish reef comprises: a first step of manufacturing a mixture by adding yellow soil, bentonite powder, or diatomite powder as binder and dry-mixing them after wood dust or sawdust to one selected among gamma type alumina powder, magnesite powder, or silver powder; a second step of manufacturing a molding product using an injection molding machine after adding water to the mixture; a third step of drying the molding product through natural drying procedure; and a fourth step of passing the molding product through firing process for 3-5 hours.
