PURPOSE: Apparatus and method for preventing a valve of a fuel cell vehicle from icing are provided to prevent the freezing of the valve through intermittent heating of valve during starting off and to improve reliability of cold starting. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing a valve of a fuel cell vehicle from icing includes a heater(20) for heating a valve(19) of a fuel cell system, a battery(30) as a power source for operating the heater, and a thermoswitch(40). The thermoswitch is installed in a power feed circuit supplying power of the battery to the heater. The thermoswitch enables intermittent power supply and operation of the heater. |
