PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a higher noise reduction effect by appropriately calculating the similarity of a reference pixel according to characteristics of image data.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: first similarity calculation means for calculating first similarity between a total value of a target area obtained by totalizing pixel values of pixels included in the target area in input image data and a total value of a reference area obtained by totalizing pixel values of pixels included in the reference area; second similarity calculation means for calculating second similarity obtained by accumulating differences between pixel values of respective pixels included in the target area and respective values included in the reference area; weight derivation means for, in regard to the target area and the reference area, deriving weight corresponding to the reference pixel corresponding to the reference area on the basis of the first similarity and the second similarity; and calculation means for, on the basis of the pixel value of the reference pixel and the weight corresponding to the reference pixel, calculating a weighted mean of the reference pixel to calculate the pixel value of the target pixel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
