USER AUTHENTICATION SERVICE METHOD AND SYSTEM IN UPNP NETWORK

PURPOSE: A user authentication service providing method and a system thereof are provided to authenticate a user by using user authentication information saved in a UAS(User Authentication Service) device. CONSTITUTION: A user authentication process is executed by using user authentication information(S301). A UAC(User Authentication Client) device uses a personally customized service(S302). The user authentication information is modified(S303). The UAC device confirms the change of the user authentication information regarding a specific SP(S304). The UAC device informs a control point of the change of the user authentication information(S305). The identification information and the modified user authentication information are supplied to a UAS device(S306). The UAS device renews the user authentication information to the modified user authentication information(S307).
