The cover (18) has a tube (52) for receiving a distal end of a pipe, where the cover pivots around a pivoting axis (44) integrated with the pipe and is fixed on the pipe such that a free end (50) of the cover is extended beyond the distal end in an exhaust direction of exhaust gas to cover the distal end. An opening (56) receives a pivot forming the pivoting axis. An oblong hole (62) is off-centered with respect to the pivoting axis, and receives an immobilization element i.e. screw, that rotatably immobilizes the cover around the pivoting axis.
