PURPOSE: A semi-hinge rahmen bridge and a construction method thereof are provided to minimize the size of a foundation without an additional overturning prevention device. CONSTITUTION: A semi-hinge rahmen bridge comprises foundations(1), walls(2), joint units, connection steels, an upper beam, and coating concrete(8). The foundations are vertically positioned at the ground. The walls are installed on the foundations. The joint units are arranged between the walls and the foundations and resist the overturn of the walls. The connection steels are installed on the top of the walls. The upper beam is connected to the connection steels. The coating concrete is placed in order to coat the upper beam and the connection steels. |
