According to the invention the arrangement (10) of two parts (11, 12) made of thermoplastic materials to be assembled by a laser transparency welding method, a first part (11) that is transparent to a laser beam (F) being positioned on a second part (12) that absorbs the laser beam (F), is characterized in that the two parts (11, 12) comprise a welding interface (13) having a predetermined width (L1), so as to enable the clamping of the two parts (11, 12) against each other without interfering with the passage of the laser beam (F), and the cross-section (S) thereof is predetermined according to the properties of the materials of the parts (11, 12) to be assembled. Said width (L1) of the welding interface (13) is substantially equal to the sum of the width (L2) of a clamping area (15) and the width (L3) of a welding area (14). |
