PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which allow the operator to correctly recognize the deformation of a sheet material so that the sheet material is cut along a cutting pattern corresponding to the deformation of the sheet material, consequently, a pattern piece with little deformation is obtained.SOLUTION: The cutting device 1 includes a cutting table 2, a spreading device 3, a projection control device 4, and a projector 5. A grid 6 is projected by the projector 5 on a surface of a cloth 7 laid on a supporting surface 21 of the cutting table 2. The operator visually recognizing the grid 6 operates a controller 41 and adjusts positions of adjusting points P1-P9 of the grid 6 so that the grid 6 is deformed so as to run along a pattern of the cloth 7. Cutting patterns 75 and 76 are deformed corresponding to the deformed grid 6 and projected on the surface of the cloth 7. Positions and angles of the cutting patterns 75 and 76 are adjusted and the cloth 7 is cut into shapes that run along the cutting patterns 75 and 76. |
