PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To access the content, while being located inside a house from a visited location, inside of a train on the way to work, or the like, using an apparatus used in a mobile environment, such as, a notebook PC and a portable terminal.SOLUTION: When encrypted content is transmitted to a content receiving apparatus, this content transmitter apparatus decides whether to permit a content receiving apparatus at a transmission destination to retransmit the content to another content receiving apparatus located inside a house different from the content receiving apparatus and transmits to the content receiving apparatus the content together with an identifier indicating a permission or inhibition of retransmission. The content-receiving apparatus, when it receives the encrypted content from the content transmitting apparatus, encrypts the content and retransmits the content to a content-receiving apparatus outside the house; encrypts and retransmits the content to the content receiving apparatus, in accordance with a received identifier, if the identifier is found to permit the retransmission, and does not transmit the content to the content-receiving apparatus, if the identifier is found as not permitting retransmission. |
