PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus reducing power consumption and a spurious elimination method.SOLUTION: A converter 4 converts a reception signal outputted from an LNA 3 in such a way that a previously measured frequency of spurious included in the reception signal becomes a predetermined frequency. A filter 5 eliminates a signal component of the predetermined frequency in the reception signal outputted from the converter 4. Thus, it is not necessary for an A/D converter 9 which performs analog-to-digital conversion on the reception signal, to enlarge an input dynamic range while taking spurious into account, thereby reducing power consumption. |
