PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device achieving space saving.SOLUTION: A transfer device 1 disposed at a branch part of a conveyor line 21 includes a main transport conveyor part and a sub transport conveyor part; and a lift mechanism for vertically reciprocatively moving members 14 and 19, which support and convey an article 25 on the main transport conveyor part and the sub transport conveyor part, respectively. The lift mechanism supports the article 25 similarly to the member 14 of one conveyor part. The lift mechanism includes a horizontal movement member for supporting the main transport conveyor part and the sub transport conveyor part. A recessed part is disposed on the horizontal movement member. Both of the conveyor parts are relatively moved up and down by horizontally moving the horizontal movement member so that a support part of either one of the conveyor parts fits into the recessed part. |
