摘要 The present invention relates to a toner for developing an electrostatic image, which has superior low-temperature fixing and storability and contains 1.010^3-1.010^4 ppm, 1.010^3-5.010^3 ppm, and 500-3,000 ppm of elemental iron, silicon, and sulfur, respectively. A non-crystalline polyester-based resin used as a binder resin has (1) a molar ratio of aliphatic component to aromatic component of 4.5-5.8, (2) a glass transition temperature of 50-70 C, and (3) an endothermic gradient of 0.1-1.0 W/gC. A crystalline polyester-based resin used as a binder resin has (a) a specific heat of fusion of 2.0-10.0 W/g, (b) a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000-15,000, (c) a difference between the endothermic onset temperature and endothermic peak temperature of 3-5 C, (d) one or more elements, including at least elemental sulfur, selected from elemental sulfur and fluorine, and (e) less than 1-10% of a component having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 or less.
