PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston position detecting device for a fluid pressure cylinder in which there is no risk of malfunction due to magnetism around a cylinder, ensuring a long period of durability even when used by being attached to a movable part.SOLUTION: Selector valves 12, 13 are installed in at least one of a rod side end and a head side end of a cylinder tube 2. The selector valves 12, 13 are changed over by operation when arriving a rod chamber side end or the head side end of the piston 3. A pressure detection means such as pressure switches 14, 15 is provided at a position apart from the fluid pressure cylinder. The output ports of the selector valves 12, 13 and the pressure detection means such as the pressure switches 14, 15 are connected by flexible hoses 16, 17. |
