PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of access to each memory device while reducing the power consumption of each memory device, in a semiconductor chip mounted with a plurality of memory devices.SOLUTION: A memory control circuit 100 is connected to a plurality of memory devices and controls the operation of the plurality of memory devices based on access requests. The memory control circuit includes: a command generation unit 107 for issuing a command to instruct the operation in accordance with an access request to the memory device selected from the plurality of memory devices by a chip select signal based on the access request; and an access management unit 106 for controlling to set a clock enable signal at High for the memory device to which the command is issued by the command generation unit 107 at timing earlier by a time unique to the memory device than the timing of the issuance of the command, and then set the clock enable signal to Low after the operation of the memory device based on the command is completed. |
