A first embodiment dividing text of a video into a plurality of semantic segments of lines if a number of characters in a transcribed text of the segment exceeds a threshold and adjusting a duration of a display of the transcribed text if a number of words in the transcribed text exceeds a predefined ratio. A second embodiment, displaying a first translation of a text presented in a video segment and accepting ranking the first translation of said text. Displaying a second translation of the text and accepting a ranking of the second translation. Displaying the translation that is greater than a predefined ranking.
