A molding machine of a direct drive system for transmitting rotary power of an electric motor 6 directly to a nut body 12 of a ball screw mechanism 8 provided in a mold clamping unit is characterized in that a built-in motor including a cylindrical motor rotor 34 disposed in a cylindrical motor stator 32 is used as the electric motor 6, an inner diameter of the motor rotor 34 is formed to be large enough to be penetrated by a screw shaft 13 screwed into the nut body 12, the motor rotor 34 is arranged concentrically with the screw shaft 13, and the nut body 12 and the motor rotor 34 are bolted while end surfaces of the nut body 12 and the motor rotor 34 are made to abut against each other so that the nut body 12 and the motor rotor 34 are disposed in an axial direction of the screw shaft 13.</p>
