The unit (1) has a cover base (2) provided with a central opening (3), and a spring element (4) assigned to the base. The spring element is operatively connected to a ball segment-shaped cover (5). The cover covers the central opening, and is provided with locking units (6) at periphery. The locking units cooperate with additional locking units (7) at the base. A circumferential sealing lip (8) is provided between the locking units or the additional locking units and the opening. The sealing lip and a seal e.g. 2-components injection molding part, are formed from a thermoplastic elastomer.
