EWS-OCT-4 PROTEIN MUTANT INHIBITING THE TRANSCRIPTIONAL ACTIVITY OF WILD-TYPE EWS-OCT-4 PROTEIN AND NUCLEOTIDE SEQUENCE ENCODING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A composition containing EWS-Oct-4 protein variant is provided to suppress transcription of wild type EWS-Oct-4 protein and to use for anti-cancer. CONSTITUTION: A nucleotide sequence encoding EWS-Oct-4 protein comprises a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence which is substituted, deleted, or inserted at 351th amino acid of sequence number 1, or a polypeptide fragment contain mutant thereof. The nucleotide sequence encoding EWS-Oct-4 protein has a binding ability with wild type EWS-Oct-4 protein. A pharmaceutical composition for anti-cancer contains pharmaceutically effective amount of the EWS-Oct-4 protein variant encoded by the nucleotide sequence and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
