PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery characteristics simulator for accurately simulating output impedance. SOLUTION: The battery characteristics simulator 1 includes: a DAC 11 outputting a target voltage, representing a voltage to be simulated; a power amplifier 32 amplifying the voltage from the DAC 11; a variable resistor 33 provided on a supply route of electric power on the output side of the power amplifier 32; a current detection resistance 34 detecting the electric current flowing through the supply route; and a variable gain amplifier 36 for feeding back a voltage to the power amplifier 32, based on the electric current detected by the detection resistance 34, the voltage capable of making the residual resistance of the remaining variable resistor 33 apparently zero, when at least the resistance of the variable resistor 33 is set to zero and the resistance of the detection resistance 34.
