PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timer suitable for students taking a lesson in a classroom, gymnasium, or the like to use, such as the matter that each student can look at its time display, and a timetable for operations which continue can be executed continuously and repeatedly. SOLUTION: The timer includes an operation part and a display and is put at a position viewable from each student taking the lesson. Each display element 31 for time to be counted and displayed at the display 3 is set to a size visually-recognizable from each student. Moreover, the timer includes a control means which stores a plurality of counting times set through the operation part 4 in a memory, stores the number of times of repetition set through the operation part 4 in the memory, counts one after another continuously the plurality of counting times stored in the memory in response to start operation inputs from the operation part 4, and displays them on the display 3, and repeats/controls this by the stored number of repetition times stored in the memory.
