PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Euphorbia pekinensis Ruprecht or Cryptotympana pustulata Fabricus extract for suppressing sebum and treating acne is provided to suppress 5-alpha-reductase and active testosterone. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for suppressing sebum and treating acne contains 0.001-10 weight% of Euphorbia pekinensis Ruprecht extract or/and Cryptotympana pustulata Fabricus extract as active ingredient. The extract is obtained by adding 1-5 times volume of solvent to Euphorbia pekinensis Ruprecht or/and Cryptotympana pustulata Fabricus, heating or infusing, and removing residual and concentrating extract. |
