The invention concerns a barbecue having a device for the satellite rotation of special food-holding grids (F), operated by a chain drive system (A) driven by a known gear motor, comprises of a frame (B) mounted on wheels and equipped with two extractable braziers (C and D), of which one positioned inside the rotating cylinder (E) without central shaft and the other one outside, below the rotating cylinder; food cooking occurs by a plurality of gear-driven special rotating satellite food-holding grids (F), having even different shape and dimensions, suitably positioned on the rotating cylinder (E).
