PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving and recording apparatus and program for reproducing broadcast data to be divided during recording as consistent broadcast content when reproducing a plurality of pieces of broadcast data simultaneously broadcasted, which are recorded using the reception quality of received broadcast signals while switching two broadcast signals.

SOLUTION: Main broadcasting such as terrestrial digital high-definition broadcasting, or sub-broadcasting such as one-segment broadcasting is recorded in accordance with the reception quality thereof. The recorded divided broadcast data comprising main broadcast data and sub-broadcast data are converted such that they have the same encoding methods and resolutions, to combine them as consistent broadcast data.
