<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving a user's convenience by showing alternatives to permit the execution of a job even at the occurrence of an error of job interruption due to jamming or the like of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine 1 serving as the image forming apparatus includes a various sensor group 34 for detecting jamming of printing paper; an operation display part 40 displaying an error notification screen for notifying the user of the occurrence of jamming of the printing paper; and a CPU 31 determining a usable function based on the detected result of the various sensor group 34 when jamming of the printing paper is detected by the various sensor group 34, and displaying a selective screen allowing the user to select the use of the function determined to be usable, together with the error notification screen on the operation display part 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
