PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed type sandwich maker which can easily make a closed-type sandwich having dents on the surface. SOLUTION: The closed-type sandwich maker has: a pressure contacting portion 3 coming into contact with the periphery of bread 2 with pressure; an edge portion 4 cutting the bread 2 at the lower end of the peripheral wall 1; and pressing portions 6 for forming dents on the surface of the bread 2 inside the peripheral wall 1, wherein the sandwich maker can make a closed sandwich having the dents on the surface by pressing the lower end of the peripheral wall 1 against the stacked pieces of the bread 2 and carrying out die-cutting. Furthermore, a collar portion 8 projecting outward may be formed at the lower end of the peripheral wall 1 and the underside may be made as a pressure contacting portion 3, and the edge portion 4 may be formed so as to extend downward from the periphery of the pressure contacting portion 3.
