<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a jam rate, toner consumption and burden of a belt cleaner unit without impairing transferability. <P>SOLUTION: In an intermediate transfer tandem system image forming apparatus there are included an image forming part is divided into two parts; toner images overlapped on an intermediate transfer belt included in a single image forming part are subjected to secondary transfer, to the toner images overlapped on the intermediate transfer belt included in the other image forming part temporarily; and thereafter, making only a one-time transfer (tertiary transfer) for a recording material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
