<p>The invention is directed to a process of updating a status of relation between objects in a system of computer-aided design, for subsequent analysis of status of relation, comprising:

- a set of data of a group of objects, preferably a pair or objects;
- a method of computation of relations between objects; and
- an expected relation of executing the method identified using the set;
- executing (23, 52) the method using the set of data to compute a relation;
- comparing (36, 58) the expected relation with the computed relation; and
