PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steam vulcanization apparatus capable of uniformly supplying steam to the whole of a container regardless of the size or shape of the container to uniformly vulcanize the whole of unvulcanized matter. SOLUTION: The steam ejector 20 connected to a steam supply pipe 2 is arranged in a hermetically closed vulcanizer 1 and a suction port is provided to the suction chamber 21 of the steam ejector 20. The outlet pipe 23 of the steam ejector 20 is opened to the interior of the vulcanizer 1 and a compressed air supply pipe 3 is connected to the vulcanizer 1. Steam and compressed air are supplied into the vulcanizer 1 under predetermined pressure to perform vulcanization under the arbitrary pressure and temperature condition corresponding to the respective partial pressures of them. The mixed fluid of steam and compressed air in the vulcanizer 1 is sucked and mixed by the steam ejector 20 not only to uniformize a temperature distribution but also to accelerate the convection of steam. |
