<p>PURPOSE: A method and a device in a communication network are provided to enable a femto cell base station to determine quality of a signal transmitted from a mobile terminal to another base station. CONSTITUTION: A signal transmitted from the second device to the third device is measured. The signal is measured in a time domain. An auto-correlation function of a time domain signal and noise is determined(205). A measured value is determined from the auto-correlation function of the measured signal(209). An estimation value of the quality of the signal is determined from the determined measured value(211).</p> |
