<p>Provided is an active matrix substrate used in a liquid crystal display device in which two scan signal lines (16i, 16j) are scanned simultaneously. When the scanning direction corresponds to a column direction, pixel areas including two pixel electrodes are arranged in a row direction and a column direction; a scan signal line is provided corresponding to the row of each pixel area; and a shielding conductor (41p) is arranged to overlap a gap between two adjacent pixel electrodes (17ib, 17ja), one of which is a pixel electrode contained in an pixel area (101) and the other pixel being a pixel electrode contained in a pixel area (102) adjacent to the pixel area (101) on the downstream side in the scanning direction. The display quality of the liquid crystal display device in which two scan signal lines are selected simultaneously can be enhanced by the use of the active matrix substrate.</p> |
