PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting device and a recording device capable of reliably collecting liquid jetted to the outside of a jetting medium. SOLUTION: The device has: a medium supporting part 163 supporting the jetting medium by its surface; a suction passage 164 which is disposed below the medium supporting part, sucks the jetting medium on the medium supporting part, and sucks it to the medium supporting part; and a waste liquid collecting part 165 which is disposed below the suction passage and directly collects the liquid which is jetted to the outside of the jetting medium. Thus, since the small suction passage is formed instead of a conventional fan-incorporated large decompression chamber, the waste liquid collecting part can be provided below the suction passage, and the liquid jetted to the outside of the jetting medium can directly be collected by the waste liquid collecting part without using a gutter-like conventional case.
