<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet in which material and processing cost of a spool and a support member which support a coil are reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The superconducting magnet includes a first coil group as a main coil 2 for magnetic field generation and a second coil group as a shield coil 3 which is arranged coaxially with the first coil group and generates a magnetic field in the opposite direction from that of the first coil group to cancel a magnetic field leaking to the outside. In the superconducting magnet, the second coil group is arranged at a position in an axial direction such that axial electromagnetic force which the second coil group receives from the first coil group and axial electromagnetic force which the second coil group generate are balanced and cancel each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
