PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fraud to an electronic device having a peripheral part which executes a prescribed processing based on a control command transmitted by a main control part. SOLUTION: A peripheral board 320 authenticates the individuality of a main control board 310 based on whether or not an operation result obtained by executing a binary operation with respect to individuality authentication data and an expectation value for the individuality authentication are accorded with each other, and authenticates the operation sequence of the main control board 310 using a synchronous code. The synchronous code is generated using packet information output along with a transmission of the control command. When both authentications by the individuality authentication data and the synchronous code are satisfied, the peripheral board 320 executes a processing based on the control command. The main control board 310 changes the type of the packet information for use in the generation of the synchronous code based on the number of division used when generating the individuality authentication data.
