PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a contents PIP video in a digital apparatus such as a video player are provided to variously overlap a sub video image of contents displayed on a PIP image by controlling the desired location. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit communicates with a contents control server. A storage unit stores contents data. A first reproducing unit reproduces data of an optical disc as a main video image. A second decoder(14) reads out contents data which is temporarily stored in a buffer memory(17). |
