PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straightening rib capable of reducing the pressure loss of an intake flow by reducing a turbulent flow on a downstream side of the straightening rib in the intake flow direction. SOLUTION: The straightening rib has an inclined width part 12 extending in the intake flow direction, continued to a downstream side end of a normal width part 11 in the intake flow direction on an upstream side end in the intake flow direction, and formed to be smaller in width as it goes to the downstream side in the intake flow direction, and a downstream side end thereof in the intake flow direction is positioned at a downstream side end of the straightening rib 10 in the intake flow direction or near there. With this structure, a direction of the intake flow flowing along the shape of the normal width part 11 can be changed along the shape of the inclined width part 12 in a part provided with the inclined width part 12. In comparison with a case wherein the inclined width part 12 is not provided, a turbulent flow on a downstream side of the straightening rib 10 in the intake flow direction can be reduced.
