METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RECOMMENDING CONTENTS BASED ON KNOWLEDGE BASE FOR USER PREFERENCE

PURPOSE: A method and a system for recommending contents based on knowledge base for user preference are provided to offer differentiated contents to users by preference and contents meta-information. CONSTITUTION: A raw data storage(10) stores legacy history of a user. A data extract unit(20) extracts purchase motivation data from the raw data storage, and distinguishes purchase motivation elements corresponding to the purchase motivation data. A preference determining unit(30) statistically processes purchase motivation data corresponding to purchase motivation elements to determine user preference object. A purchase motivation ontology manager(40) manages preference objects corresponding to the user and purchase motivation elements with the purchase motivation ontology.
