FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION AUTOMOBILE SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A fingerprint recognition system for a vehicle and a control method thereof is provided to prevent the vehicle from becoming stolen since the vehicle can start only through the fingerprint recognition of predetermined users. CONSTITUTION: A fingerprint recognition system for a vehicle comprises a certification part(S30), a fingerprint recognition part(S10), a fingerprint data storage(S60) and a control part(S80). The certification part certifies whether a user is an administrator. The fingerprint recognition part senses the fingerprint on a door. The fingerprint data storage stores at least one user fingerprint. The control part determines whether the fingerprint data exists in the fingerprint data storage if the unlocking of the door is selected. The control part sets the fingerprint sensed through the fingerprint recognition part as the fingerprint data of a user.
