PURPOSE: A two dimensional solid imaging device and a polarized light data processing method thereof are provided to completely reduce the thickness of a two dimensional solid imaging device. CONSTITUTION: A pixel region includes a plurality of sub-pixel regions which have a photoelectric conversion element(21). The pixel region is arranged in a two-dimensional matrix shape. A polarizing member(130) is arranged in the light incidence side of at least one sub-pixel region among a plurality of sub-pixel regions comprising each pixel region. The polarizing member is composed of a plurality of strip-shaped conductive-light shielding material layer, a conductive-light shielding material layer, and a slit region between the layers. |
