PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor without causing fracture of an electrode tab even in a vibration stress load condition. SOLUTION: The outer periphery of an inner bottom of an armoring case of this electrolytic capacitor is formed into a thick part 6a, and the center part thereof is formed into a thin part 6b. A bottom plate 7 is mounted on a step part comprising the thick part 6a. A capacitor element 1 is sandwiched between the bottom plate 7 and a sealing plate 3. The capacitor element 1 is sandwiched between the bottom plate 7 and the sealing plate 3, and thereby being integrated with the electrolytic capacitor; even in a vibration stress load condition, mechanical stress is not applied to electrode tabs 2a, 2b, and the electrode tabs 2a, 2b are never fractured. Even when the armoring case 6 expands while using the electrolytic capacitor, the step part is not deformed, thereby the state where the capacitor element 1 is sandwiched between the bottom plate 7 and the sealing plate 3 can be maintained, and the fracture of the electrode tabs 2a, 2b can be reliably prevented while using the electrolytic capacitor.
