<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device capable of multidimensional positioning by the single device. <P>SOLUTION: The drive device 1 has a shaft-like driving member 4, an electromechanical conversion element 3 which has a plurality of expandable parts 11, 12 each provided so as to be juxtaposed in the axial direction of the drive member 4 and holds one end of the drive member 4, a movable member 5 which frictionally engages with the drive member 4 and can displace slidably on the drive member 4, and a drive circuit which applies to some of the expandable parts 11, 12 a low change rate of DC voltage component different from that applied to other expandable parts 11, 12, and applies to all the expandable parts 11, 12 a common alternating voltage component fluctuating with a common period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
